ARWell PRO v6.5 Is Here: Expanding Access, Flexibility, and At‑Home Movement
At Augment Therapy, we build with one goal in mind: making therapeutic movement more accessible, engaging, and inclusive—wherever care happens. With the launch of ARWell PRO version 6.5, we’re taking another meaningful step forward in supporting clinicians, patients, and families across the continuum of care.
This update reflects direct feedback from our users and continued investment in tools that help bridge the gap between in‑clinic sessions and movement at home.
A Major Milestone: ARWell PRO on the Web
The biggest addition in v6.5 is the new ARWell PRO web app, expanding access beyond Apple devices.
Patients can now complete their home programs using a web browser and device camera—even if they don’t own an iPhone or iPad. This makes it easier to support continuity of care for families using Chromebooks or shared household devices.
For clinicians, the web app also introduces new flexibility:
Create, edit, and delete programs directly from the web
Manage home programs without needing access to a shared clinic iPad
Continue supporting patients remotely with fewer technology barriers
More Ways to Move: Expanded Games and Tasks
Version 6.5 continues to grow ARWell PRO’s library of therapeutic activities, offering clinicians more options to match patient needs and goals.
Endless Runner Platform
Building on the initial obstacle course experience, ARWell PRO now includes additional endless runner games:
Obstacle Course
Skiing
Surfing
These games allow patients to pick up where they left off and adjust intensity based on ability, supporting coordination, motor planning, balance, and agility within a playful, engaging format.
Supporting Independence with “How to Play”
To help patients and families get started with confidence, v6.5 introduces a new “How to Play” tutorial task inside the app. This feature walks users through how ARWell PRO works and is designed to reduce friction during onboarding and home use.
Accessibility remains a priority, and this tutorial represents an early step toward broader support for users with different abilities.
Designed to Extend Care Beyond the Clinic
Across platforms, ARWell PRO and ARWell are designed to help carry therapeutic goals into everyday life—supporting consistency, engagement, and participation between visits.
For families exploring at‑home options, ARWell (our consumer app) now offers a 7‑day free trial on iOS, making it easier to experience guided, movement‑based play at home using only a mobile device. ARWell uses the body as the controller, requires no extra equipment, and is built with accessibility in mind for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Built With (and For) Our Community
Every ARWell PRO update is shaped by clinician and patient feedback. Version 6.5 reflects what we hear most often: the need for greater access, flexibility, and ease of use, without compromising the integrity of therapeutic movement.
We’re grateful to the clinicians, families, and partners who continue to share what’s working—and what could work better. Your input directly informs how ARWell evolves.
