Augment Therapy Attends NDSS Advocacy Conference

Augment Therapy team members Lisa Blake & Amy Pratt kicked off this week with a fantastic visit to Washington DC for the National Down Syndrome Society Advocacy Conference. Joined by Nikki Reminder, a PT and mom to Addie (the star of our ad in the event program), they re-connected with friends met at other NDSS events, met loads of new folks, and showcased ARWell in the exhibit hall.

Nikki and Amy also had the opportunity to learn more about our legislative process and the issues most important to the Down Syndrome community in sessions designed to prep families, friends, and self-advocates for a day on Capitol Hill meeting with our representatives, alongside the other Ohio delegates.
